I have tried my Tello using the demo controls,8 times now. & it wanders off & crashes each time. It doesn't seem to respond to direction controls. :-( 😞

I have a jetski and I want try this with that some of the active track modes are cool on this

Cybersecurity specialist here. I just wanted to put in my observational analysis in terms of the DJI ban and how/why it would fit in with your maiden flight. I believe the key is upon activation and installation of the app on your phone. This is the perfect opportunity for DJI to gain access to your drone content en-masse. Now I do not work with the US Government, but I assume they found that activation and storing video and photo content in their app would easily be used by Chinese surveillance. Without your phone, the drone cannot connect back to their servers, and you essentially can only record sessions on a Micro SD. This is ideal. You can choose what to do with the data, not DJI. I wish this could be better explained in Congress if it comes down to an all out ban of DJI.

Good video. I was launching and landing on banka boats in the Philippines. They have about a two foot wide triangular area in the front, with wood going up a couple inches on the sides. My boats were always anchored. Landing on a fast moving boat would be crazy in my opinion. Takeoffs were fairly easy but on landing, the drone would move at the last minute so I damaged 3 propellers. After that I decided to try a hand landing on land and it worked good. I flipped the drone over to turn off the propellers like you did. You need to have obstacle avoidance turned off when you do this. DJI will tell you not to do a hand landing or launch, but I feel it's safe. Anyway good video.

I have been avoiding getting the 03 camera due to overheating issues I had with original air unit. Will the camera overheat during the learning and setup time when drone is sitting stationary for long periods without airflow?

Just got a Godox Diffusion Dome (in 2024). Much cheaper and has fittings for rectangular and round heads. Works great. Collapsible too.

What a shit video. 1. There is no need to do a compass calibration every time you fly. Especially if there is like you say "a lot of metal interfering with the drone". 2. There is no need to turn off Bluetooth, Wifi or any potential signal interference when you are on the open sea with a clear line between you and your drone. The signal is always going to be good anyways. 3. Ask captain to slow down or even stop the boat? "Or even stop the boat"?? It should be a common sense to takeoff and land when the boat is not moving because even when you stop the boat it still moves a bit. So why would anyone even attempt these operations from a moving boat?? But for some reason you do. 4. Find shade to better see the screen? Look out for things you might hit? Watch your battery level? Don't be drunk? No shit, who would've thought of these. 5. Have a spotter watching the drone? Why? You are in the open sea and there is literally nothing there expect the boat. A spotter will be spotting for what? 6. Metal is interfering with the takeoff? I'm sorry but I laughed out load at this one. Do you not realize that the boat is MOVING. The drone is not moving sometimes forward, sometimes sideways like you say, its going towards the stern because the boat is moving forward lol When you title a video like that and even explicitly mark words with capital letters, then we expect someone experienced to see how to do just that. This was more of a story of how I used a drone on a boat once. You didn't even mention things like adjusting RTH, changing speeds, turning off sensors, watching for waves or getting a catch stick. You obviously have no experience and did this like once, so why do you make a video about it?

TELLO HERO doesn't work with the latest flavour of Android. I purchased TELLO FPV and before starting the App - go to the phone's settings - select Network and Internet - turn on Aeroplane mode - select Internet and connect to TELLO-###### - NOW start Tello FPV App. Just saying because it took me a while to work this out. The TELLO FPV App does not connect the drone to wifi but did pick it up when connected through the Phone's settings.

i personally think Rode is overrated and more of a "popularity among creators" type thing. A lot of vloggers are young and easily influenced, if they see a popular you tuber with one,they want to go out and buy it without researching it. in my opinion this video shows clearly which which is the better mic. I don't like the corn cob turd look of the rode, however for filming with only an iPhone the mini rode shotgun mic is a great choice. As far as bigger cameras for me its still the deity- even in 2024...great vid!

I have the Air 2, and I can't get it to work with my iPad Pro 12.9". It tells me that it can't charge the device (iPad). I figure there has to be work around for this. Can you help please?

You didnt talk about one thing that I think is important. The mini 3 looks that has some lens distortion, when the air2s those building lines are really straight and vertical.

It's crucial to remove that foam piece on (13:34). I left mine on for years and burned out my gimbal. I had to get it repaired and now it's fine. How can I have overlooked that?
